Its completion ( from the idea to the actual construction in 1999 and its inauguration in December the 25th. , 2000 ) was backed by A.C.S.P. - “The Commercial Association of São Paulo” and materialized Mr. Gaetano Brancati Luigi’s idea.

This monument, in spite of its recent inauguration, has already crossed our borders with its message of Peace and Fraternity among people.

The first Peace Landmark, at the “Pateo do Collegio” ( the place of São Paulo city foundation ) daily receives worldwide tourists, children and young students, who make a point of photographing themselves stepping on the brass board, symbol of their Continent.
